Can I Keep My School’s Property without Notifying?
Property Rights Definitions:
The legal rights that entities have on a thing or creature they own. The owners (entities) may be people, companies, charities, governments, trusts, etc.

Case:
Ashley took away a wheelchair without informing any school staff members. After the investigation, the student was charged with "Theft or possession of University property or the property of others" by the school.
In the hearings, the student explained that the intention of taking the wheelchair wasn't stolen, instead, she could take care of her roommate, who got injured last week, traveling upstairs and downstairs by the wheelchair more conveniently and safer.
Fortunately, the sanction for the student was only "A written notice that a continuation or repetition of Prohibited Conduct, within a specified period of time, will be grounds for more serious disciplinary action" after all the considerations.

Suggestions:
Don't take away the objects or things that don't belong to you. No matter how small the things are, those are others' properties. Without asking or informing owners, taking others' belongings will seem like "stolen" from owners' perspectives. Always ask before you take the items from others!
